Especially if there is no Cure!!!!!
What can we do for ourselves that will prevent stuff happening?
Well, firstly it would be a good idea to see if we are causing any problems to our health ourselves, because these we can immediately eliminate. Then we are off to a brilliant start.
SMOKING
If you smoke – don’t! Simple as that!
I know that people who smoke just love it and probably don’t want a reason to stop because they feel invincible. Don’t kid yourself. If you see those horrible pictures on cigarette packets – it might be someone else right now but it will soon be coming your way.
If you smoke, research tells us that you can pretty much count on dying from a related health issue.
It is poisonous and it is on the cards that it will change your lungs. Then, in your later years, when dealing with older ageing itself (if you happen to make it) you will also be dealing with these failing organs and who wants that!
At that point in your life, you might be philosophical but your most likely thought will be that you regret it.
I know some people live to 80 having smoked most of their lives but this is unusual. Will you be lucky enough to win the lottery of your life? The chances are you won’t, so if I were you I would consider stopping now.
Apart from ruining the health of your internal organs, your skin will also suffer. If you smoke, look in the mirror. Do you see a sallow skin and wrinkles, it will be because you have escalated their appearance by smoking. Ghastly isn’t it!!!
Gosh, why not make a pledge and chuck the things away today. They are a guaranteed way to die and you are doing it to yourself!!! Gosh, who wants to do that!!!
Surely we don’t need to please our brain to the extent of damaging our body.
Our body is our temple to be cared for, to be cushioned and to be loved. This is a privilege. If we are born healthy, why do we then start poisoning ourselves off when we are old enough to know better!
As you can see, a smoke lover I am not.
When it offers you so little pleasure in the scheme of things and yet returns you such a hefty price to pay – you would wonder why you would ever take it up!!!!

Stop Smoking
If you really want to “Cure” yourself and you are a smoker, stop smoking. You will instantly be making a good change in your body by removing toxins from your system. Your lungs will be trying hard to sift out all the junk – given that they now have the opportunity. Your lungs want to work well for you – so give them a chance.
It will take a little while before you notice the difference, but hang on and wait for it. It is so, so worth it you will wonder why you didn’t toss the cigarettes aside years ago.
By stopping smoking you are preventing a myriad of health problems that are definitely coming your way.

You don’t even have to run around the block every day for this benefit – you simply stop putting that burning cylinder of toxins into your mouth. Easy!!!!
So if you are not a smoker you are actually preventing yourself getting a whole of horrible diseases down the track. Well done you from refraining from taking up this awful habit in the first place.
