In fact it is called "The National Public Toilet Map"
It was an initiative by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing and redeveloped by Human Solution Pty Ltd in the early 2000's.
It is estimated that nearly 4 million Australians are dealing with the problem of incontinence and having the knowledge of toilet whereabouts can make short or longer journeys possible. People with bladder and bowel problems can be helped to live as independently as possible by providing the knowledge and skills where possible.
This website gives you the opportunity to browse, find and then actually plan your journey to your destination by locating all toilet facilities along the way. And the site is so detailed it can tell you what they are like!!
What a fabulous idea this is? Not only does it help those in the community who need this assistance, but I imagine this website would be most helpful to overseas holiday makers. Sometimes finding toilets in foreign lands can be more than painful so this website should solve everyone's problems.
