Hi Everyone

I am now in India. Our doctor at the Kerala Ayurvedic was overjoyed that we had favoured him with a return visit within months of the last one.

)
He was absolutely thrilled with our article on www.wisewomensworld.com and said that it had totally inspired him and the hotel.
It was so inspiring that they have set up a special desk for him in the reception area so he can give tourists a little talk about Ayurveda when they arrive. He's such a darling. He even got an Australian who read the article on your website and came to lose weight. She only lasted 5 days though.
It isn't easy but then what is?
The room is always covered with grit from the medicated clay rubs and thick yellow oil. Also our hair is continually coated with thick oil and the one thing they don't provide is conditioner and shampoo! It would be wonderful if I could find a shop, which sells it, open at the local beach!

But everything is closed because it is the monsoon season. The surf is bashing on the beach like there's a tornado but it certainly hasn't rained since we've been here. Oh dear, global warming again!
Because there are now no tourists, every tourist is much more valuable which is also a problem. But fortunately since 50 % of the shops are closed there are less shop keepers to bother us so I guess it all evens out in the end.
I was lucky to find this internet cafe open actually. I passed 3 others that were closed for the monsoon season.
The air is lovely and fresh though. All that thrashing of surf is creating lots of negative ions which are very refreshing.
Yes, I guess I am lucky not being in the freezing cold - but the boiling heat of Israel was just too, too much.
You know what? I was told not to get a stamp in my passport for Israel. I had to get a special form stamped on arrival and departure.
The lady at the travel agents told me that there could be problems after we left as we were flying to Amman in Jordan where we did a city tour and then got back on a Qatar Airlines flight to India.
Well, luckily I followed her instructions and didn't get a stamp because I peered over the counter at the man who was booking us onto the flight and he was turning every single page of our passports looking for something! Now why would he go to all that trouble unless he was looking for an Israeli stamp?
Well, back to our Ayurvedic paradise and a delightful evening watching Animal Planet and Discovery Channel! There is one other English speaking channel showing some terrible American drivel so really I should be writing up my report for you.
But never fear I do have some good notes!
Love
Roslyn
